table below shows trends in electricity generation nationally over
the last decade. The rise in usage of natural gas is the clearest
trend. It also appears that this rise has eliminated rate increases
(I am not sure that this is true for Ohio). As noted in the first
footnote, wind and solar are still minor factors.
