Ohio Net Electricity Generation by Source





Sept. 2012 (GWh):

Coal = 5680 (63 %)
Nat. Gas = 1698 (19 %)
Nuclear = 1530 (17 %)
Renewable (non-hydro) = 113 (1.2 %)
Hydro = 31 (0.3 %)

Note that Ohio has more coal, less gas, and less renewables compared to the country as a whole.
